WEEK OF JAN 31 - FEB 3
AV/Film 1: We are wrapping up our Magic Vine Videos, showing students how recording something just right along with editing the timing just right can make their videos look magical.
We will then begin learning about commercial terminology and start working on how to script and shoot a commercial.
AV/Film 2 & 3: Students should have created a Schoology account for my class. I have provided them links to a weekly submission form which they must turn in every Monday to let me know what they are working on for the week.
Also in Schoology, they can find a study guide for tests and a Rubric I will be using to grade their video projects.

WEEK OF 1/17
Students in AV/Film 1 today got their hands on the cameras for the first time. They got acquainted with how to put the cameras on the tripods, how to record, play back, etc... They also learned how to upload video on to the computer.
They will begin recording their first project on Wednesday of this week and continue working on it throughout the week.
You can go to my website to find the project information: https://sites.google.com/site/mrstheriaultstvproductionclass/my-forms
AV/Film 2 &3
Students are working on their first projects. The best ones will be included in the Friday show. This first project is an opportunity for me to see at what level they are and where they can improve throughout the semester...

DEC. 7-DEC.11
Students will need to bring a flash drive to school this week so they can save their work from this semester. An 8 gigabyte flash drive should be enough and nowadays cost about $5.00. We will be creating a reel including some of their best work from the semester and will then save all of the work created on their flash drive.
We will also watch some videos on how different special effects are created on some popular tv shows and movies.
